Bette Lynn Dickinson | About the Artist

Bette Lynn Dickinson is a prophetic artist and engaging communicator who challenges audiences through metaphor and image.  Based in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Dickinson works primarily with oil and acrylic on claybord.  In her paintings, writing, and preaching, she explores the connection between the natural and spiritual realms through metaphor and image.

Dickinson also leads and mobilizes artists with InterVarsity USA.  She works to plant new arts ministries and develop the next generation of missional art leaders.  Dickinson is ordained in the Reformed Church in America and received her Masters of Divinity from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary.
