Welcome to the Making Room in Advent Breath Prayer Cards DIGITAL DOWNLOAD. These 25 beautifully designed Advent cards will take you deeper into the season of making room for Jesus.
There are two downloadable print options:
To print at a local print shop - use the CARD resource as it has crop marks and can be cut to 4x6 cards
To print at home - download the 8.5x11 resource
These cards are designed to be used in conjunction with the book, Making Room in Advent by Bette Dickinson, to aid your devotional experience during Advent.
In the stress and frenzy of the Christmas season, these cards are a great tool to help you slow down, anchor yourself in your body, and become aware of God's presence with you in the present moment. Here are a few suggested ways to use them:
Hang them with clothes pins and twine, turning them over one day at a time to reveal the image and prayer.
Keep them in a handy place in your car or at work to help center yourself throughout the day.
Each card contains a painting with a breath prayer; a short phrase you pray silently with your breath, leading you into deeper contemplation on the painting or simply centering yourself in the moment. May God meet you anew through this prayer practice!
